Getting Started as a User

How users get set up and on-boarded to use SUMMIT

Sport rollout

Users are set up in SUMMIT on a sport by sport roll out.

The first sports to be on-boarded to SUMMIT are Snow Sports, Cycling, Rowing and Canoe Racing. They will be followed by Yachting and Athletics at the end of 2026.

Once an initial sport has been on-boarded to SUMMIT, any new personnel (athletes, coaches or support staff) will be set up via a request from the Sport to the SUMMIT Support Team.

If you think you should have an account, please get in touch with your NSO SUMMIT Admin

Athlete Accounts

TAPS (HPSNZ Supported) athletes are set up in SUMMIT and sent a invitation to create an account. As a TAPS athlete once your account is set up you will be connected to your Coach and Support Team. This enables you to see sessions that are planned, your overall plan, data, feedback and more.

Coach and Support Team Accounts

Your sport will confirm which Coaches should have SUMMIT accounts. They will send a request to the SUMMIT support team to set up the user accounts for Coaches from that Sport.

As a Coach you will then receive an invitation to create an account. Once your account is set up your sport can connect you to the athletes you work with, which will enable you to start creating plans, sessions, feedback and more.
