Connecting Your Garmin, Whoop, or Oura

For athletes: connect a wearable or training platform so its data syncs into Summit.

Connect a wearable or training platform so its data flows automatically into Summit. You sign in on the provider's own site, so Summit never sees your provider password.

Before You Start

  1. Make sure you have an account with the provider you want to connect (Garmin, Whoop, or Oura) and know your login for it.

  2. Have the provider's app or website handy in case you need to confirm the sign in.

Connect a Provider

  1. Log in to Summit and you will be taken to your Home Page

  2. Click My Connected Apps

  3. Find the provider you want and select Connect App.

  4. You are taken to the provider's own sign in screen. Sign in there with your provider username and password.

    1. This screen belongs to the provider, not Summit, so it looks different for each one.

    2. If you are already signed in to the provider in your browser, you may skip to the next step.

  5. Choose which data you want to share with Summit, then approve the request

  6. You are returned to Summit. The provider now shows as connected and its data begins to sync.

Note: The first sync can take a while, so recent activities may not appear straight away.

Check or Remove a Connection

  1. Return to My Connected Apps at any time to see which providers are connected.

  2. To stop sharing, select the provider and choose disconnect

Note: Disconnecting stops new data syncing from that point. Data already in Summit is not removed.

If a Connection Does Not Work

  1. Confirm you finished the provider's sign in and approved the data sharing. If you closed the window early, start again from Connect a Provider.

  2. Check your login works by signing in to the provider directly.

  3. If it still will not connect, contact your organisation's Summit administrator.
